Privacy policy
Moon Express Inc is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy describes the information used to provide our transportation services, process driver applications, and operate our driver and administrator portals.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address, company and shipment details, displayed quote estimates, driver qualifications, employment application answers, trip reports, inspection results, signatures, and any defect photos you upload. Account information is used to authenticate users and grant the appropriate access.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to inquiries, evaluate applications, coordinate transportation, manage trip reports and inspections, and maintain service records. Driver submissions are accessible to the submitting driver and authorized administrators. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers and quotes
Our portal uses Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, photo storage, and backend processing. When a distance-based quote is needed, the origin and destination ZIP codes are sent to Zippopotam.us and the resulting coordinates to OpenStreetMap Routing Machine to estimate road mileage. This estimate is not truck-specific routing guidance. Submitting the quote contact form saves your contact and shipment details, along with the displayed estimate, in Firebase for authorized administrators to follow up. Email links open your email application and send only when you choose to send them.
Storage and account access
We take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access and misuse. Login persistence uses browser storage. Unsaved trip drafts may be stored locally on your device so you can finish later. Use your own device for driver reports and sign out when you finish. Personal information is retained as needed for the purposes above and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Your choices
To ask about your information, request a correction, or discuss deletion, contact info@mxtrucking.com or call 980-335-2969. Some transportation and employment records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
